As you all very well know, the Ranchview High School Orchestra Department took part in the Region 24 UIL Orchestra Contest, held at Newman Smith High School. We are pleased to inform everyone that all three orchestras that went to contest were SUCCESSFUL! The Concert, Symphonic, and Philharmonic (Full) Orchestras received a Division I Superior Rating on stage and in sightreading. As a result, they received Sweepstakes trophies!
We are extremely proud of this accomplishment and we look forward many more successful years ahead of us. We would like to take a moment to thank all our students for their hard work and dedication. We would also like to thank Mr. Moon and Mr. Graham for their commitment for making Full Orchestra possible this year!
In addition, in combination with the recent achievements of the Barbara Bush Middle School Orchestra, our local school cluster is proud to announce that we are the only school cluster in the entire school district that attained a Division I rating for both sightreading and concert performances in all performing groups. This is an amazing achievement!
